Hello, and welcome. I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Renée; by name and definition a Renaissance woman in the making, and wearer of many hats.
As a writer, I’ve penned everything from flash fiction to strategic marketing copy. My work has appeared in local and national publications, and I was honored to have my essay “Reunion” selected for Portland’s Listen to Your Mother inaugural show. You can also read me on my blog “The Good Hearted Woman,” where I write about comfort food and cozy living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Among my current projects is Bicycle Boy [working title], a braided biographical novel that revolves around a small-town murder over chickens in 1936 and my father’s experiences as a telegram delivery boy in Portland, Oregon in the early days of World War II. I’ll be sharing excerpts from that in the future.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you’ll make it a habit!
Peace,
Renée
